Waxing
Waxing is a safe and efficient method of hair removal. As the hair is removed from the root this treatment has long lasing results usually 3-6 weeks. This treatment leaves the skin feeling silky, smooth and soft with a fine regrowth that becomes increasingly finer with subsequent treatments.
Before treatment
- No use of hot baths, shower, sauna or jacuzzi as this can hyper-sensitise the skin.
- Do not apply any creams just prior to your appointment
- No sunbathing or sunbed
Waxing times can vary with each treatment - ask at time of booking to be given an estimate of the length of your appointment.
After treatment and for the following 12 hrs
- Keep the area clean and avoid heat and friction.
- No hot baths, showers, sauna or jacuzzi.
- No creams, sunbathing, sunbed or tight fitting clothing.
- To prevent ingrown hairs - starting a few days after your appointment gently scrub the skin in the bath or shower using an exfoliation mitt.
- Moisturise every day to keep the skin supple and to help the new hairs grow through easily.
